Peepy [26 May 2008|01:58am] me and marissa tried to take care of the abandoned duckling we named it peepy because of the cute sounds it would make we fed it and it really liked to be held against warm skin because it was scared and cold, and it thought marissa was it's mother and it loved her a lot. I took it outside and let it run around in the dirt and the morning dew on the dandelions we put her in a box with some water and warm cloths but she would get so scared when we left her alone, she would try to jump up the sides of the box over and over again until someone would come to get her. we left it alone in the box in the car on the second morning for about half an hour and when I opened the car door I noticed it was very quiet. I sat down in the car and opened the box and shut it again really fast, because I couldn't even look at it. I think it was jumping up the sides of the box and landed funny on itself and broke it's neck, because the position it was laying in was really disturbing and contorted. it pretty much ruined my life but marissa buried it at the park and put flowers around the grave and her and alden said a little prayer, so it's allright. at least we know it was happy while we had it. it really hurt my feelings though, that a freak accident like that could even happen. It was so tiny and cute and soft, and it would snuggle into my hands and fall asleep. it's little webbed feet we're really precious too. anyways that's the story, I'm sorry it's a really sad one U_U 20 sproutu plant a seed
